Angela founded Body Inspired Fitness in 2003 on the belief that anybody, anywhere, of any age, size, & fitness level can be in a truly healthy, happy, and vibrant place. Angela is a certified fitness trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine as well as the National Endurance Sports Trainers Association. ”Exercise is the one thing in life where you have the power to make it work. The results are completely up to you. I’ve seen people make incredible changes to their health, their bodies and their lives. It started with them putting on the workout gear and showing up.”
Angela says the key is finding what you hook into. “Once you make that mind/body connection, the process happens so much faster. You skip all the cycles of stopping, starting, crash dieting, beating yourself up, and drama. Instead you build positive momentum.”
In addition to her highly successful Los Angeles based Body Inspired Fitness boot camps, Angela appeared on the hit MTV show, Chelsea Settles. Viewers fell in love with Angela as she helped Chelsea lose an incredible 98 pounds in less than five months. In 2011 Angela co-authored “90-Days To A Stronger Body & Deeper Connection with Your Daughter,” an at home fitness program for moms and daughters available for sale on Amazon. Even though Angela is not a mother, she took her extensive fitness training experience working with teen girls & wrote a book to help both moms & daughters realize that anything is possible through the power of exercise! Check out Mother Daughter Fitness to get more details!
Angela has been a recurring guest on CBS’s “The Talk”, and has appeared on Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family” with Cristina Ferrare & Mark Steines, Hallmark Channel‘s “Marie” with Marie Osmond, Fox Sports “Physique with Dominique” with Olympic gold medalist Dominique Dawes, ABC 7 with Food Coach Lori Corbin, and on Fox’s morning show “Good Day LA”. In addition to her TV appearances, Angela has written inspirational articles, stories & workouts for Fitness magazine, ModernMom.com, HealthyBitch.com, SELF.com, New Balance, Things to Love Right Now, and Adios Barbie. Angela is also the Fitness Editor for Untitled Magazine and is a PUMA sponsored trainer & spokesperson.
No matter where you live Angela offers phone & video consultations to support you on your quest to better health! Angela will help you identify what is getting in your way of being inside the best version of your body. She will help you unlock the door to living a truly healthy, happy, and vibrant life!

I’m obsessed with…
Brand new socks, Italian wine, trashy magazines, good books, organic coconut milkshakes, olive oil, new music, good lighting, boyfriend jeans, black diamonds, frozen grapes, therapy, my eye mask & humidifier, English breakfast tea, my heart rate monitor, washcloths, foamy hand soap, food porn, & cute sneakers.
I think this stuff sucks…
MY FOOD ALLERGIES, being mean, slow wifi, losing, The Bachelorette, cops that run red lights, unresolved anger, white socks, shoes that hurt my feet, looking for my cell phone, missing my sisters, a bad meal, shitty parking jobs, lines, bad grammar, hitting, cellulite, wasting time, fast food, and chit chat. I really dislike chit chat.
If I had a million dollars I would…
Not tell anybody! I would keep doing exactly what I was doing… but maybe sleep in a bit more. I already travel plenty, so that wouldn’t change. I would certainly hire a chef! To me, food is everything! If I had a chef to cook all my meals exactly how I wanted them – now THAT is heaven!
I love my man because…
Every time, every single time, I have a belly ache, or headache, or body drama of any kind, he 1. Says “Sweetie I’m so sorry. What can I do?” 2. Looks at me with such compassion & love & 3. Means it. Every time. Considering I have a freaking aliment every five minutes, this is a big deal. I never really knew what it felt like to have someone feel empathy for what I was experiencing until I met him. I realized this is what love IS. Feeling so deeply for someone else & what they are going through. PO-WER-FUL!

When I’m all alone I love to…
Organize cabinets & listen to super girly music (Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat, Florence & The Machine, Janet Jackson, Mary J Blige, old Whitney Houston, Ellie Goulding). I also love to eat raw cacao nibs, mixed with coconut milk, out of a ramekin, while sitting on my bed with the heating pad under my feet. As I chew & crunch, I think. It’s so freaking weird, but I love it.
If I could eat one thing forever it would be…
Frozen grapes.
I really wish that people knew that I…
I am SO sensitive. I’m sensitive to sounds, smells, noise, feelings, anger, mean words, yelling, food, light, and space. I take in the feelings & words of other people so intensely it often overwhelms me. But that sensitivity also gives me the ability to feel & give love in a way that is incomprehensible to others.
I’m a huge fan of…
