Your At-Home Full Body Workout Routine!
This workout is sure to get your heart pumping & your body feeling great! This high intensity interval & strength workout will help you burn fat, get lean, strong muscles, & help you get the results you want. Plus, it’s fun (my boot camp clients will attest to that)!
Start your workout by doing at least a 5 minute warm up, feel free to do more if you wish. Your warm up can be anything you want – a quick walk around the hood, treadmill, eliptical machine, jump rope.
Next, using your GymBoss interval timer set the first number for 40 seconds, set the second number for 20 seconds. Then set the timer for 30 rounds. The 40 seconds is your active time, the time that you will be exercising. The 20 seconds is your rest time. The best thing you can do during your rest periods is get as still as possible, as quickly as possible, to maximize this short period of rest time. (CLICK HERE TO GET YOUR OWN GYMBOSS INTERVAL TIMER)
Below are ten moves. You will go through the entire series performing each move for 40 seconds, resting for the 20 seconds, then going to the next move. You will go through the entire series 3 times giving you a high intensity workout for 30 minutes.
1- Burpees
2- Squats
3- High Knees
4- Push-Ups
5- Butt Kicks
6- Walking Lunges
7- Jumping Jack’s
8- Scissor Switch Kicks
9- Criss-cross (Bicycle Crunches)
10- Plank
This is NO walk in the park. This workout is tough. Take breaks if needed, skip entire minutes if you have to. Listen to your body and do the best YOU can! Let me know if you finish the whole workout!
