Being a Fitness Fashionista: Sporting My Stylish Workout Clothes
This is where fitness meets fashion. When I workout I want to be cute and feel like a girl. I crave a perfect fit for my athletic body, killer patterns, lots of color, and yummy fabrics. I’m also really into accessories! I love wearing wristlets, rings, simple diamond studs, and on my non cardio days I will rock a necklace. I always sport gray, black, or colored socks, NEVER white socks. And I’m known for my sweet sneaks! No matter what though, my style is all about feeling put together.
When I get new workout clothes, I feel absolutely lovely. I’m motivated to jump right into my next intense workout. This might sound crazy, but it works. I feel like I push myself more, I keep my abs in tighter, I work harder. Put yourself in some stylish workout clothes, something you feel beautiful in. You can’t deny it…it’s a pretty awesome experience. I guarantee if you show up to your workouts feeling fit, feeling pretty, YOU WILL WORK HARDER, YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT, YOU WILL FEEL AMAZING FROM THE INSIDE OUT. So it doesn’t hurt to be inspired by your wardrobe!
For me, that extra splash of confidence by looking and feeling super cute is what gets me through that last rep or that last brutal 30 mins of a three hour workout. As an athlete I need all I can get! As a girl I won’t settle for less and if that means I cheat a little by being looking cute…that’s fine by me!
