Jinann, 31. Before I started BIF, I felt like my physical health was negatively impacting my work and relationships. I was tired all the time and I never wanted to be active or social with friends. I had no confidence in my ability to navigate my new career, or network after my move to LA. My new rigorous schedule left me little time to focus on me. I spent several months trying to move more and eat better, but I wasn’t seeing results or feeling healthier.

After a friend made the recommendation, I started working with BIF and attending Jared’s co-ed evening class. Just one year later, the proof is in the pudding. I am not only excited and ecstatic about my physical appearance — I feel better, I have more energy and my body moves smoothly and fluidly. My confidence sky-rocketed and I began seeing major improvements in the quality of my work, achievements and social relationships. In the past, I had always been training on a team or working with trainers, so I can say with absolute conviction that Jared and the BIF team are the most comprehensive fitness group I’ve ever seen. They put in the work to not only be excellent at what they do, they are committed to their clients in a genuine way. They combine a multitude of fitness genres and individually design every workout with options to help you stay in YOUR body. These trainers know when to push, when to give a little love and how to help you connect with the best version of you. This may sound too good to be true, but it’s simply fact.

Frank, 40. Having been a high school and collegiate athlete, fitness had always been an important part of my life.  But after getting married, having kids, and embarking on my career, my personal health and workout regimen had become non-existent.  While I was super happy with my family and career, I was out of shape and felt like crap.  I began working with the BIF team in April of 2016 and I can honestly say it has been life changing.  I feel HEALTHY again, and this return of health and balance in my life has made me happier then I’ve been a long time. Now I can’t imagine not waking up for my 6 AM workout with Jared and Angela!

Laurel, 49. I am a busy mom, wife and owning my event planning company, Laurel and Party (www.laurelandparty.com).  I have always loved all sports – mountain biking and snowboarding are my current favorite sports. For the last year I started consistently working out at trx classes but a few months ago, I felt I needed to add something else to my workouts. Even being so active and attending classes to keep me motivated, I wasn’t seeing the results I thought I would get. That’s when my friend Tina turned me onto Jared’s 9am classes at BIF. Also, when I turned 49 this past October, something just clicked about making the right food choices, and having Jared checking in on my food log and giving me feedback really helped! He has helped me to look at food differently and I feel amazing. At 49 years old I feel stronger and tighter than I have in such a long time, and I can’t be happier about my progress with the help of such a supportive team by my side.

 

imageChristina, 24. This is literally the first time in my life when I’m starting to feel genuinely good about how I look and I owe it all to bootcamp. Getting up at 5:40 blows but it’s been the most rewarding thing I’ve done, and I’m not stopping any time soon! It’s crazy how much stems from feeling good about yourself — the confidence carries over into every aspect of your life and it’s cool to see how people notice it. I’m so glad I discovered you and weaseled my way in when someone broke their foot (lol, sorry), you are an inspiration and the best trainer/life guru I’ve ever had!

Mary Before AfterMary Traylor, 28.  It is hard for me to put into words what Angela Parker and Body Inspired Fitness have done for me.  Short and sweet- BIF has saved my life!  I have been on my weight loss journey for seven years now.  It has been a LONG hard road.  The beginning of 2013 I began attending Angela’s morning boot camp.  Her passion towards fitness and compassion for her students amazes me!  I feel as if she is completely COMMITTED to helping me and holding me accountable to become the healthiest, strongest, and most FIT person I can be.  I have lost 35 lbs in 5 months with BIF and 110 lbs overall! Julia Breitman, 45. I’ve been taking Angela’s morning boot camp for a year and a half now! I started boot camp to get my body back after having baby #4 and have continued on with boot camp since! I feel stronger than ever and have been running again, which I hadn’t been able to do for 5 years, due to a knee injury. Angela motivates me to do my best with an ever-changing, fun fitness routine to challenge me to reach my full potential each class, which I wouldn’t do if working out on my own. Our class is diverse with different ages and abilities, and Angela is tough, yet sensitive, to each individual’s personal goals and limitations. The first workout with her was exhilarating and she just made me want to keep moving and being healthy! I was sore after her first workout, but I love it! I had doubts if I was able to do her whole session because I had my own struggles.  Physically I feel so much stronger and better than I’ve felt in such a long time and I have more confidence in myself, which has given me the push to learn new things. Since working out with Angela I have decided to change my lifestyle by adding exercise and healthy food if I want to see change. After the first session with Angela I am stronger, healthier, happier and more relaxed! I have a lot more to lose and I won’t give up. Two years ago, my wife started raving about something called “Boot Camp.” She dragged me to a class, and while not many things can be described as both “grueling” and “fun,” Angela somehow makes it so. Michele Jones, 48. My name is Michele and I am 48 years young. I joined BIF with Angela Parker one year ago. I was out of shape, had high cholesterol and concerned because my clothes were getting tight. I wore large tops and size 10 jeans. Now I wear Med tops and 6/8 jeans!! This was/is my first experience with joining a boot camp class. I had heard of boot camps for many years and was a little concerned if I could handle a class like this at my age. I was apprehensive and scared. Why had a not joined a class like this when I was in my twenties or thirties? I am thrilled to have found Angela! I feel like a new person! I am stronger inside and outside. All my life I was depressed about my weight and lacked the drive to get up and get out to exercise by myself or with friends on a daily, weekly basis or yearly basis. Something or someone (me) would always get in the way of my getting ready and going out to exercise. Angela tells us that we are important and that we only have to prove it to ourselves. Take one hour a day for ourselves and give it your all. Give yourself the best. Love yourself, care for yourself and work hard at what you do. Work hard at boot camp and this will translate to everything in your life.  It is true! Angela is a great motivator! I feel great! I am strong! I am happy!
