Julia Breitman, 45. I’ve been taking Angela’s morning boot camp for a year and a half now! I started boot camp to get my body back after having baby #4 and have continued on with boot camp since! I feel stronger than ever and have been running again, which I hadn’t been able to do for 5 years, due to a knee injury. Angela motivates me to do my best with an ever-changing, fun fitness routine to challenge me to reach my full potential each class, which I wouldn’t do if working out on my own. Our class is diverse with different ages and abilities, and Angela is tough, yet sensitive, to each individual’s personal goals and limitations. I highly recommend Angela’s bootcamp to anyone who wants results!
Llora Baltazar, 28, from West Hills. (Yes, she drives 25 miles to come to boot camp!) I decided at the last minute to join Angela’s boot camp because I wanted a change in my workout regime. The first workout with her was exhilarating and she just made me want to keep moving and being healthy! I was sore after her first workout, but I love it! I had doubts if I was able to do her whole session because I had my own struggles. Physically I feel so much stronger and better than I’ve felt in such a long time and I have more confidence in myself, which has given me the push to learn new things. Since working out with Angela I have decided to change my lifestyle by adding exercise and healthy food if I want to see change. After the first session with Angela I am stronger, healthier, happier and more relaxed! I have a lot more to lose and I won’t give up. Michele Jones, 48. My name is Michele and I am 48 years young. I joined BIF with Angela Parker one year ago. I was out of shape, had high cholesterol and concerned because my clothes were getting tight. I wore large tops and size 10 jeans. Now I wear Med tops and 6/8 jeans!! This was/is my first experience with joining a boot camp class. I had heard of boot camps for many years and was a little concerned if I could handle a class like this at my age. I was apprehensive and scared. Why had a not joined a class like this when I was in my twenties or thirties? I am thrilled to have found Angela! I feel like a new person! I am stronger inside and outside. All my life I was depressed about my weight and lacked the drive to get up and get out to exercise by myself or with friends on a daily, weekly basis or yearly basis. Something or someone (me) would always get in the way of my getting ready and going out to exercise. Angela tells us that we are important and that we only have to prove it to ourselves. Take one hour a day for ourselves and give it your all. Give yourself the best. Love yourself, care for yourself and work hard at what you do. Work hard at boot camp and this will translate to everything in your life. It is true! Angela is a great motivator! I feel great! I am strong! I am happy!
